Prasin Aloga (Visual Puppet Theatre Prasin Aloga)

The Puppet Theater of Fine Arts “Prassein Aloga” was founded in 1997 by Emmanuela Kapokaki, a graduate of the Higher School of Puppet Theater (Charleville-Mezières, France) with a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation. It offers a performance combining puppets and actors, departing from traditional puppet theater. Its performances approach the audience in a manner different from conventional theater, utilizing the language of imagery, symbolism, and archetypes, presenting an original spectacle that combines the actions of both actors and puppets for both children and adult audiences. Its puppets are created using various techniques with an emphasis on artistic expression.
